Floating Leaf, N. Fork Moorman’s River
Next month Regina and I are flying out to California to visit the girls and spend a week camping and hiking with them in the Sierras. My boots gave me trouble last month in Banff so I put them on for a Sunday morning test drive and hiked a few miles up the Moorman’s River trail from Sugar Hollow into Shenandoah National Park. I found this leaf highlighted by the sun and floating in the stream a few seconds before it sank. The boots seem better with some thicker socks!
