It’s easy to become completely wrapped up thinking about the COVID pandemic. In fact it seems like that’s all I’ve worked on about for days and days. This Saturday afternoon I took a break to make this print, a print I’ve been thinking about printing for a couple of years. This photograph is a sunrise view of the Torres del Paine (Towers of Paine) in Patagonia (Chile), and it was quite a pain to backpack up there with about 50 pounds of photo and camping gear for a three day backpack. Fortunately I had Erin for a companion, and she was very patient. Thanks to Regina (a six-footer) for holding up the print- easily the biggest one I’ve made yet. I think it turned out OK!
